Kick/Ban for bad language doesn't work..

I tested the badwords with my fried and the RconTool didn't kick him..
He used bad language, reached the maximum warnings, and he didn't get kick
It wrote that he was kicked, but he wasn't...... W-H-Y?!?!

Does not work for me either. Also the advertising kick does not work.

Both warn me when I type in advertsing or bad words but do not kick me after the 1 warning is exceeded.

I have paid the registration fee also, although I have not received the codes yet. Does that matter that it is not fully registered?

Does not matter if you are fully registered or not. make sure you have selected to kick the person after the warnings. Go to the ingame chat tab click on edit settings. Then click on the warn/kick tab. Then select on warning before kick. Select the number of warnings. Then below that make sure to check kick or ban. So the rcon knows what you want it to do after the maximum warnings are reached. Then hit apply then ok. Do the same thing for the advertising tab. If that still doesn't work try restarting the rcon.

I am fully registered now wheter it helps or not. Very nice admin tool.
Using on COD4.

Now to the problem & I think a solution. I am trying to kick myself for advertising or bad words for testing. Here is the return down below.
Asterisk used here instead of the actual cuss word.
I think the problem is my name with the brackets. The name is {4F}Thunderbird all my clan members have that in front of their names.
To test it I removed the brackets and Rcon kicked me correctly for advertising.

The return below from the Rcon tool includes some backslashs with my name and does not recognize the name
as being on the server. Previous is had said it kicked me but did not really kick me as I was still connected and playing.

At the very botton is where I changed my name in COD4 without brackets and it kicks me correctly for advertsing.

My final questions I guess is am I correct? Can all the possible combinations of the keyboard be added to a future release as many clans use various brackets in their names?

And finally, is there a place to set the amount of time a kicked person must stay away before rejoining the game when auto kicked for ads or language?

I was able to rejoin immediatly after bring kicked. I see no settings except in kick center which is preset to 300 & I presume seconds there.

This is true. People who have brackets on their name or stuff like that do interfere with the server. I have this problem many times with people not showning up on the list or the ban list etc... I would suggest using your bad word filter like this. *badword* the * are like a wildcard so any thing in front or back of that word it should still kick them.

I don't think their is way to change the time on the bad words kick.etc.. That 300 number that you mentioned is the temp ban time and it is in minutes.

Is there a way to set it up to kick after 0 warnings and ban if they've already received a kick for it? Like a second offense violation?

Hi, this isn't to do with the bad language but just generally kicking people for anything, whether it be cheating (aimbot) etc. and i can set it for say 3000 and that person will be straight back on even before i have got back into cod4.
Is there a problem with the tool in kicking/banning or am i doing something wrong?
It is so annoying kicking then the person coming back and giving me s**t bout me being a s**t admin and not known what i'm doing and all sorts.
Any help will be much appreciated.

I am assuming you are talking about the Temporary kick time. Whatever you set your time in the rcon will not be permanent. Once the rcon is restarted or the server the time will resert back to default.
